Just saying hi.
Hi guys, I've been keeping a dream log on and off for the past 3 years and have only gotten close to becoming lucid in a dream once since I started. One of my goals for this year is to really work on my dream recall and achieving lucidity, so finding this site/forum is a way for me to remain accountable to that :) I'll be exploring the Dream Views Academy for now, I'm to some degree antisocial but I just wanted to post and say hi. See you guys around!

Hello and welcome! :) I also started around 3 years ago and been on and off since then, and just got back to continue. This forum is really amazing, lots of nice people and great info/tips you will find for sure :)

Welcome to DV, Cavedreamer!
Many people find that community encouragement boosts their success rate, because there is that extra element of positive reinforcement and excitement surrounding the idea of becoming lucid.
It sounds like you've already been doing a great job with your dream journal, nice work! :goodjob2:
Starting with the DVA is an excellent idea, it's full of good information and helpful mentors.
I wish you the best of luck on your lucid journey!

Hey Cavedreamer, welcome :)
Good to have you back. I've had my few stints on DV also. I've found that with myself, consistency is key. Also stick to a technique and be patient, and master the basics :)
All the best man.
