I have joined this forum because I would like to expand my lucid dreaming abilities. I have had lucid dreams since I can remember and recently I was able to consciously change my surroundings. This made me very excited, so here I am, craving your advice:D
Also, I find myself unable to save an avatar, my desired picture is 129x129 pixels and less than 125KB, yet I get the message "unable to save image"

Why don't you re-size it to 125x125? Sometimes I have found that when it gets to close to max quota won't allow you. Also make sure the format is gif or jpg, others sometimes bugs the avatar system. Make sure you do it through Control Pannel> Settings > Avatar. Let me know if you still have issues :)
Make sure you keep a dream journal open by your bed to jot down your dreams, even if you just recall fragments and also check out the Tasks of the Month & Year thread as it will help you a lot as well.
I have been keeping a dream journal for about a month now. The image is a jpg, I re-sized it to 125x125, that didn't work, then I tried 120x120 and that failed as well. Thank you for the help!
