Greetings
Hello, my name is Jack. A little about me: I'm an exercise science student, graduating soon and going to physical therapy school. I run and swim competitively at various distances. I love reading, cooking being in nature, and of course controlling my dreams when I can...
I'd say lucid dreaming was one of the major things that drove me to get a minor in psychology. I find it absolutely fascinating. I had my first lucid dream a few years ago and there was a period of time that I got pretty adept at having them. Looking back I see that I lost the abilities I had gained during a few years of being in an awful relationship. For the betterment of my soul, I ended that earlier this year. It left plenty of time for me to grow spiritually and, as part of that process, I know I want to get back to where I was with lucid dreaming.
I hope to have the opportunity to meet some new people who are just as amazed by the phenomena as I am and hope to learn how to be able to achieve lucidity more often!

Welcome, Jack!
Glad to have you on DV. :)
My brother studied human movement too, you seem to share some interests with him.
Psychology is a huge interest of mine! I think a lot of people involved in lucid dreaming are fascinated with the inner workings of the mind.
I'm glad to hear you are in a better place after leaving an unhealthy relationship.
I look forward to following your progress as lucid dreaming becomes a bigger part of your life again!
If you're looking to improve your induction technique(s), there is some great information in the Dream Views Academy to check out:
