Holy cow, i'm really, really sorry to hear that...that must have been, and must still be absolutely devastating.
Sometimes, dreams are the brain's way of dealing with things you haven't dealt with in waking life...that's the theory anyhow, i'm not saying that's what's happening with you. I'm not trying to patronise you by saying you haven't dealt with it, because i don't know you.
But losing a close family member is a very traumatic experience...as is losing anyone.
You have to have time to grieve and work things out, and this takes time.
March wasn't that long ago, so you may still be coming to terms with it.
If you feel able to, would you mind posting details of this dream?
I'm not sure if it actually means anything...it could just be another element of the grieving process that you are going through.
I'm one of the dreamguides here, and i've sent you a welcome PM. Check it out when you get time.
Also, if you need anything else, if i can be of help to you, feel free to PM me anytime and i'll see what i can do.

this does sound like it could be a part of the grieving process...when someone you have a close relationship has died, it's normal to dream about them, think you've seen them walking down the street.
Obviously, you are still going to be getting over your father's death. I read somewhere that it can take as long as two years to fully begin to get over such an event.
What you're going through is totally normal. As to if the dreams can be stopped, i don't know.
But maybe the reassurance that this is normal may help.
