      Hi everyone!

      I've always read about and been interested in lucid dreaming but recently I've become very interested because last weekend I had, what I think, was my first ever one. I can remember everything so clearly, my thoughts, my feelings, I even spoke to someone and understood what I was saying and the answer I was given from the person.

      I've read through the "What is a Lucid Dream" thread and by the sounds of it I wasn't fully in control, but there are parts I felt I was in control and I made the decision on what happened.

      When I woke up in the morning I felt so overwhelmed and happy! I've gone ahead and bought myself a dream journal (something I've been meaning to do for AGES!). I can't wait to start recording my dreams properly!

      Oh, I wasn't too sure if this was the right place to post the actual dream I had so I left that out, but if I'm corrected otherwise I'll go ahead and post it!

      Thought I'd share a picture of my journal too :p

      You ought to find plenty of information and helpful dreamers on these forums, for sure. You might start by browsing the Induction Methods and Techniques, just to get started, but there is plenty of other resources here, including the Dreamviews Academy.

      And yes indeedy, there is even a place to post your dreams, in the Dream Journals forum.

      What a great journal! It's easy to look forward to writing down your dreams when you have a nice-looking book to preserve them in.
