Been watching you, and just joined.
I've actually been to this site a few times to read up on how to attain lucidity and thanks to this site more than any others, I actually have! I didn't join right away because I somehow felt "unqualified". I know if I asked anyone on here they would insist I join, but I didn't feel a part of it yet really and didn't know what I had to offer. I'm joining now because I feel more a part of it all now that I've had two or three lucid dreams. They weren't anything big but enough to give me a feel for it and get me super excited! So here I am, prepared to scan posts, post replies worth reading (hopefully), and post tons of questions I have!
Since I've already started this post I'll ask a couple questions here, since I don't want to clutter the forum with posts :P .
Has anyone ever tried consciously holding their breath "indefinately" in a dream? It doesn't seem like something that would be hard to think up or even hard to do, just a wierd sensation I was thinking about trying one day when I'm better at it all. Maybe you automatically aren't breathing throughout most dreams anyways or something since its more physical instinct than mental.
And how do you know when you are really lucid dreaming, and not just having a dream in which you are dreaming that you are lucid? I never really understood the border there, or if there even is one.
I think thats all for now. So "HI" and thanks for replies!

You are now a part of us, so welcome to the forum!
I have held my breath in a LD, sometimes I don't even breathe at all in one.
About the LDing, yes, you would know, b/c LDing is when you know you are dreaming! If you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to ask, please!
