Introducing Myself
Being a committed introvert, introductions aren't my strong suit. I’d rather quietly sit in the back of the room, taking in the sights. But you can’t really become part of a community without participating, can you? So here goes. I’m a fiction writer with interests in the weird. A few years ago I had my first novel, Time of Death, published and I’ll have a new short fiction piece appearing in an anthology of twisted fairy tales coming out some time in 2015 and I regularly have other short fiction pieces coming out.
My interest in lucid dreaming started way before I even heard the term. I remember several vivid dreams from my youth, dreams that have stuck with me all my life and always left me wondering (maybe I’ll spell them out when I find the appropriate forum thread). About three months ago I came across a magazine article about lucid dreaming, and the description struck a chord. In less than a week I was looking for resources to learn the art of becoming lucid.
I got a copy of A Field Guide to Lucid Dreaming by Dylan Tuccillo and Jared Zeizel and began searching for the key to the door that would unlock my private, dream playground. I incorporated reality checks into my daily life, started a dream journal, and I’m always looking for dream signs. So far I've had limited success. I've had a few lucid dreams, even managed to do a little flying, but I’m still working on achieving and maintaining lucidity on a regular basis. That led me to the Dream Views podcast and eventually this forum.
That’s about it. I’ll be looking through the forums and checking out classes. I hope to get to know a few of you better in the coming months, maybe even encounter you on the other side!

Welcome! Another introvert here :okbyenow:
If you want to post any of your vivid dreams, just do it on the dream journal of your own profile, dreams can be a good read.
Let's hope your entering the forum will boost your lucidity in the next few months  good luck!
