Hello!
How are we? I'm an 18 year old Australian looking to hone the lucid dreaming craft. I can recall having at least 3 good LD's in my life before I even knew what it was, so I guess you could say I'm somewhat of a natural LDer. I started browsing these forums a month or two ago and found success with MILD and DILD, but have not been able to construct a lasting LD as of yet. Almost every night that I have attempted to LD I have achieved lucidity at some point for 10-15 seconds, but have been unable to sustain it. I hope to get to the bottom of this problem with the help of you guys!
See you around!

Welcome, Shansss!
I'm always excited to see fellow Australians joining the DV community! :)
Congrats on already achieving lucidity!
What generally happens after those 10-15 seconds? Do you lose lucidity and drift back into a non-lucid dream, or do you tend to wake up?
Either way, establishing some kind of grounding/stabilisation method could be helpful. I would probably recommend different forms of stabilisation based on whether you're getting too exited (waking up) or losing awareness (remaining asleep).
Starting a workbook in the DVA Intro Class would be a great place to get personalised advice and suggestions as you progress:

Good luck, and keep up the great work!

Welcome to DV! :santa:
I too am somewhat of a natural LDer. If you ever have any questions about lucid dreaming stuff, feel free to pm me. I love to answer questions and help people out when I can.
Dreamer actually recently helped me to learn how to make my dreams longer. She's pretty awesome but now I know her secrets so I can help people too :mwahaha:
See you around!
