Red face I've taken the plunge! Hello fellow dream travelers.

      Hello All.
My name is Blue, I'm a complete newbie at forum postings, not so new to dreaming. (40yrs) I've only ever re-told or shared my experiences with my immediate family, which also includes my hubby, our 3 kids and 3 of my closest friends, one of which we share a "in your face" so to speak, mind connection. I came to Dreamviews synchronistically and have spent a few months reading and pondering. I'm actually quite nervous, I feel my innerworkings will be exposed and tried to resist joining but it is what I need. So please be gentle with me. I need to be able to ask questions and I trust my innerself has guided my outerself to this group. My goal is to commune with my innerself "face to face". Sounds easy reading it back to myself but it's not. I have always had very vivid dreams. I would also lay in bed as a child and stare at the ceiling until I made the colours I could see move and swirl, speed up and slow down. I would have mini series dreams continued the next night and the next and if i wanted to change it or start a dream from fresh, I would just see it in the back of my mind and off I'd go. Also, I had a pre cognitive dream when I was 11 yrs old. I dreamt whilst on holiday with my grandparents in Torquay. The next day at the beach my dream was realised perfectly. It has been only the last 5 or so years that I've become able to meditate, by which I mean lay down, breathe, quiet mind, focus on colours I see and stay still. In all my years of dreams I have only ever become lucid once. I would do all kinds of un-real things in my dreaming adventures but I never said to myself "oh, I'm dreaming" I just went with it but changed it if I didn't like it. During my one lucid dream which stared as my regular vivid dreams do, my youngest son was drowning. It is too long to recount here so I'll save it for another post. I became lucid when mentos mints started coming out of his mouth, I began scooping them out and as I touched them the mentos turned into chalky (I felt them) flat disks. That is when I knew I was dreaming. I told my son to close his mouth which he did, like a cash register draw and I said to him "I want to speak to the person in charge of this dream"(not sure why I said this, it wasn't planned). His eyes rolled up into the top of his head and he then disappeared. I then felt vibrations and as if I were a million tiny bubbles floating and swirling up. It was black with tiny tiny twinkling lights everywhere. I then heard chimes and laughed to my self thinking, "there's music here"(where ever "here" is) then I was in front of a large screen flashing pictures of people, trees, landscapes, an Indian Chief, family portraits and I have no idea why but I said to myself " I'm going to wake up now". Ever since then I've worked out my dreaming muscles and can bring on vibrations with meditation (WILD) and the WBTB works for me too, I am dream journaling more than ever and it really does help! I'm in a pickle though, when I come through the vibrations and I'm out of my body, my youngest son (astral version?) comes into my room and I get caught up in the scene. If I leave the room he is in the next place I go. So point me in the right direction, if you can. I would be grateful for any and all advice. Thanks for reading..almost typed listening Here's to popping my posting cherry!
      Be kind and love all..
