hello!
I´m new to this forum,my name is Emil and i´m from Sweden.I have been here and read some posts once and awhile. It seems a lot of interesting people use this forum so i´ve decided to join. Maybe it can help me in my attempts to become lucid in Dreams.
I have been trying on and off for years to become lucid in Dreams but as you can see on the counter i´ve had very limited success. I have tryed most tecniques, but i wont give up my goal of becoming a frequent and hopefully skilled oneironaut. I am convinced of the many benefits therein besides the obvious fun..
Perhaps i can get some good advice here from you experienced Dream-travellers.

Welcome to DV!
In the future, it would be a good idea to practice consistently, not on and off :)

Awesome, CEB--welcome to the party! Let us know if you have any questions. What kind of techniques have you been practicing?

Thank you BenHull!
I´ll do just that this time, i won´t give up.

Thank you too ThreeCat!
Mostly I´ve practiced a variety of MILD tecniques, with lots of RC´s and positive affirmations etc. Now i am going to try to induce lucidity with some "help" from the fysical domain, i´ve ordered a stroboskope wich i am about to set up with a timer to go off now and then in the late hours... i´m exited about this experiment, hope and believe it´ll help me to get to the realm of concious dreams:)

Tonight I had some kind of success in my long quest for LD;ing.
I dreamt that me and my son was watching the starlit sky, I was pointing out star constellations.. we were in my childhood home. Suddenly two lights were moving around like UFO;s then the thought came to me that its a dream and in that exact moment everything goes black and I awoke, unfortunately I needed to visit the bathroom so I had to go up... well its not much but I have to count it as progress!

Congratulations on getting lucid! Even if it didn't last very long, it's a big step. And the starlit sky with mysterious moving lights sounds like a really cool scene!
