Hello~!

Nice to meet you all~!

I first found the DV forum through an old friend of mine -- we were fellow members on a dream-based video game forum, and she was a lucid dreamer. This was the first I had heard of the term, and I came here seeking answers. That was a little over three years ago. I've been having the occasional lucid dream ever since.

Fast forward to a day or so ago, a recurring character in my dreams asked me why I hadn't joined the forum yet, if I visited it so often. I couldn't give him a proper answer, so here I am~!

I love herbology, I collect crystals, I dabble in just about every kind of art and craft, I write stories on occasion (usually fueled by dreams), and I compose songs on occasion. I also love Norse mythology.

I really don't have anyone IRL to talk to about lucid dreaming. It's been nothing but books and browsing the internet for years, and I'm looking forward to finally being able to talk about it.

My goals are to become lucid more frequently, and to extend the duration -- as well as increase my control.

Like you, I don't have someone to talk to about lucid dreaming either. The forums are a great place to relax and ask questions!

It's interesting that you decided to finally join the forums from a dream character as well.. and also that you visited it a lot before. I've been visiting it a lot as well, then decided to join. I got this username from a dream, though I completely forgot it and woke up saying it out loud. I've never been so glad to wake up when no one was else was awake! :cackle:

But I guess that's where our maybe-not-so-mutually-acknowledged similarities end. Hopefully you accomplish your goals! Happy lucid dreams! :D

Well, while I say he's a recurring dream character -- if I'm to be entirely accurate, he's actually a constant entity. I'd likely be better off calling him my Dream Guide. He's been around for, oh... seven years or so? Probably much longer, he's a shapeshifter.

He always gives really good advice. Dream-based or IRL-based.

And actually, ParanoidLlama, it's funny you mention that. "Henna" is the name they call me in my dreamworld, so you could say we have that in common too. :)
