Good afternoon!
My name is Ropp, and I'm Spanish (so, sorry for my typo!). I'm 26 now, I've finished a Master Degree in Acoustic Engineering, and now I'm working in the University with an scolarship developing audio software and researching about sound in general. I live in Granada (Andalucía, at the south of the peninsula), and in addition to my job, I like spending my time listening to music (mostly metal), drawing and gaming (video & table games).
I discovered lucid dreaming about 8 years ago, when I first moved out from home. I read about many methods and practiced them for some time, but only had two or three really short lucid dreams before stopping. Now, about a week ago, I started again to feel curiosity about my dreams in general. I become aware of my lack of memory regarding my dreams, so I decided to start working again on this. I've started a Dream Journal, I'm getting used to do reality checks, I'm listening to some podcasts about lucid dreaming, and now I'm joining this community. Actually, last night I had my first lucid dream since my first attempt! I did a reality check while dreaming, and Tadaa! It was really short, but made me feel really excited about all this.
I still have to read a bit more about how this site works before starting to participate, but I've seen by now that you have a great amount of material as well as people predisposed to help. For that: congratulations. I think you're doing a great job.
