Hi, I'm Chris.
Only recently I've been more interested in the dreams I have, and I want to figure out why I dream the things I do. A lot of my dreams are things that I'm anxious about, and I think understanding my dreams might help me better understand my anxiety, which is an issue for me.
I would also like to learn how to lucid dream, I've never had a lucid dream before. For about two weeks now I've been keeping a log of the dreams I've been having and I'm starting to do reality checks.

Hi Chris, welcome to DV :) I'm sure with proper practice and motivation, you will have a lucid dream soon. Check out some of the guides available (http://www.dreamviews.com/attaining-...n-laberge.html). While some members may disagree, I think LaBerge's MILD is much more effective than "mantra" practice. I would also check out Puffin's DILD Guide - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views. I wish you success in your endeavors :)
