Hello Guys :D
Hi guys,
Im Aditya from India, 17 year old, I am fascinated by the concept of lucid dreaming, i had one accidentally as a kid, i tried them a couple of years ago again but gave up in 2-3 days, this time I wont quit practicing unless i can achieve at lease 1-2 per week :happyme:
I started a week ago and found about this forum on reddit and google searches, im happy that ive discovered this place :)
I've read most of the beginner threads and now i realize the fact that it may be weeks before i can dream lucidly, in this week ive had one lucid dream without control, it disappeared quickly and i was rubbing my hands desperately, later i realized it disappeared because i expected it to disappear :(
Ive been doing meditation, RC, semi- ADA ( i do RC and ADA 20 times a day, i get a reminder) and i keep a journal. I have tried WILD, WBTB, and some other techniques.
Ive improved my dream recall from 1 to 2 dreams a day, im obsessed with lucid dreaming :-P
I also eat, pistachio, almonds, cheese and an egg before going to sleep, and i have automatically started waking up 2-3 times each night, feeling fully rested. I have been getting more vivid/weird dreams
The lucid dream i had was successful due to FILD.
I dont usually take part in communities etc, but i thought it would help me keep the habit, just hope that i am not a natural non-lucid dreamer :whyohwhy:
Happy dreaming and sorry for my bad england, im not a native speaker
:offtobed::thanks:

Lol I like the name flyingcow :dancingcow:
A lot of people here are just as obsessed with lucid dreaming, I'm glad you found us
I just learned about FILD myself, its a really cool technique. There are a lot of different methods on here to try, I think WBTB is my favorite.
Anyhow Welcome to Dream Views Aditya! You can start a dream journal on here as well as read the cool adventures of other dreamers. This will help your recall a lot and people can comment on your dreams. It's also not too late to try The Task of the Month lucid challenge :)
It'll be fun to see your progress, Happy Dreaming

Yes, ill check the challenge..
Its really difficult for me to wbtb and fild, i just give up after 5 mins, maybe thats because i dont stay awake for longer than 10 mins before wild....i like to wild while normally sleeping but dont get any dreams,i will try more today
I have improved dream recall and vividness greatly...meditation and b6....
Happy dreaming

Hi Aditya,
That is great that you now recall 1-2 dreams a day. That's better than me since on some days I still remember nothing.
Has eating those foods before sleep had any effect on your dreams?
