Just saying Hello

Hello everyone, I'm Nav. I found DV from another site where I posted about a very recent Lucid Dream I had. Some of which is recurring, but not always the same. More of a recurring theme.

Lucid Dreaming.... Up until recently, I was unaware of this term although I have been able to do this for probably most of my life, I am almost 36 years old now. Some of this would be called DILD & WILD if I read correctly, and usually rather effortless...just whenever I chose to, and sometimes when I realized I needed to take control of a dream. There is a lot of back story, probably about 15 years worth. However, most of this 15 year span has been rather uneventful, as I chose to distance myself (more to come on that in the future I'm sure). Some of this freaks me out a little bit, as it has come back all of a sudden.

I am hoping that this community can be somewhat of an outlet, as it is very difficult to discuss with many people as they just don't understand. I look forward to getting to know some of you and also letting you in on my dreams. Maybe someone here will be able to shed some light on some things or point me in a right direction.

Welcome to DV, you have come to the right place! I can completely relate with the feeling of being unable to communicate with other people about lucid dreams. When I first got started, it was all I wanted to talk about, but I quickly found out that no one cared about it unless they truly understood what it was!

DV has a great, open community that is accepting to just about everyone, so I think you will find that you fit in just fine! I look forward to seeing you in the forums :)

People here are very friendly, even to someone as nutty as me. I'm very glad I joined.
