A lurker saying hi.
After lurking here for a while, I thought this might be a good time to say hello to everyone. I mostly spend my time reading threads on this forum but recently I've wanted to try to get more out of my time here and I figured this would be a natural first step.
I've had lucid dreams fairly sporadically my whole life. I've never been able to have them consistently though and that is something I would want to work on. That way I could experiment more and try things out.
Despite this, I've been keeping a dream journal regularly for the past 3 years and it has been an awesome experience. Even without becoming lucid on a regular basis, reading my dream journal back once and a while makes me feel as if I'm living a secret life on the side.
I keep a Twitter account where I very briefly tweet on my dreams. I was far more active in the beginning and it has slowed a bit, mostly because it feels as if I'm just screaming into the abyss and no one reads any of them. If you're interested the link is https://twitter.com/m4radreams
I thought I'd start a dream journal here as well. Hope to learn and share with you all.
edit: fixed some things.

Welcome m4ra! :)
Twitting your dreams is a cool idea. In addition, you can start a dream journal here or use this thread for a short daily update of your dreams:

Thanks for the greet and the idea. Definitely going to give it a try. :)

Hi there. It's good that you've a motivation to pursue lucid dreaming. Good luck.

Lucid dreaming is unfortunately the only skill I've worked on that I've seen little to no improvement with time. Been at it for years, it's just as random as it ever was. Hope this kick-starts things. :)

You definitely will kick start them! :) We have a lot of resources here and you can try out different techniques.
Actually, my lucid dreaming was also quite sporadic before joining DV but afterwards I've managed to get organized and saw an improvement. A little bit of inspiration and persistence can take you a long way. :)
