Hello
Hello everyone
I just sought information out of a dream that I literally just had and then I stumbled upon this forum which honestly feels great.
Basically I was waking up from a dream. I knew it was a dream, because I had decided not to sleep and just rest my eyes with my blinds open, having the room luminated.
As I was waking up from the first dream I decided "I want to wake up, but I want to wake up here!"
So I woke up in the summer in a setting very close to my village. I stuck my hand in the water and it felt like actual warm water. Everything looks 100% real, unlike other dreams I've had that I thought where lucid. The graphics were spot on.
I decided to go swimming. While swimming out on this lake, a good looking girl walked across it, so I decided to swim after her.
I entered this house that was her, saying hi. I assumed as this is my dream, she'll know me.
But her respons was a happy Hello and "who are you?"
I was chocked. It was my dream and she had no idea who I was. She looked so real, independent of my thoughts and I got scared. As I ran away the world got blurry and I woke up.
I think this was my first proper lucid dream. I had no idea that the characters could act so independently from my mind. Creations from my mind, but independent from it.
So weird. I have to experience this again, I have to explore this thing.
My name is Carl and I'm 22 years old living in London. I'm looking forward to talking and sharing with all of you :)

Welcome! And congratulations! That sounds like a healthy mix of a wake-induced and a dream-end induced lucid dream (WILD and DEILD). There are some great guides on those induction methods if you want to reproduce your findings. Let us know how it goes...

Welcome to DV Carl :)
That sounded like an awesome and nice LD to have and don't worry, you'll have many more of them. My favourite part of the lucid dreams is the vividness you experience, I have mild bad eyesight in real life and it looks so HD in my lucids... Anyways I hope to get to know you and be a part of your journey!
