hello to all, i'd so like to lucid dream :)

hi all, new member spinny here that is keen to learn to LD... have been trying for ages and ages but nada! :(

although that's not strictly true as i did have 2 dreams about 3 years ago that were 'kinda' lucid-ish but didn't last long (and actually scared the poo out of me coz i didn't know what was happening lol) - then i found out what it was and ever since then i've been trying to repeat the experience but with no luck whatsoever! (snif)

i've read 'all' the books in those 3 years (almost literally) and think i have attempted virtually every technique going, but it's always the same! nada!

what the heck am i doing wrong?? why wont it work for meeee! i really wanna do it!

anyway, that's me and that's why am here, plus by now will try 'anything' that people can suggest short of having a sex change lol :)

why oh why is it sooo difficult! plus is it true that some people just can't do it?

Don't worry; everyone can lucid dream! Don't be put down - you can do it! There are tons of techniques on here that you can have a browse through.

I don't have much experience with dream control, but I'm sure everyone could change sex. It's probably due to the fact that nobody ever has experience being the other sex. It'll just require some imagination and belief to accomplish that.

I've been currently trying to read through all the posts to try and catch up. I like to read but it's probably gonna take me a month of sundays to read 'em all :laugh: haha

Am also trying to learn my way around the forum in the process so I don't put my big foot in things, it's gonna take me a while but i'll get there!
