Hi, new member here!

Hi all, I'm very excited to get started here. I love dreaming and I've had a strong interest in dreams for a long time now but I've never had a true lucid dream. I can remember being aware that I was sleeping and trying to force myself to wake up but that may have been more like sleep paralysis. I've never been able to take control of a dream.

However, I have had many dreams over the years that seem deeply meaningful, including some that appeared to be precognitive in nature. Some of my dreams are so intense and lifelike it really feels like I have travelled to some other dimension and time. I sometimes wonder if this could be possible.

My dreams are always good. I never have scary or bad dreams. I also have certain recurring themes such as bridges, water, cities, and long roadways. I often dream of a certain city that I used to live in but it is always different in my dreams. Also, there are always groups of people in my dreams; it's never just me.

I'm looking forward to learning different techniques to become lucid and I have a question that I have been wanting to ask about for a long time. I will post it in another section of the forum. I also ordered Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen LaBerge today and am looking forward to reading it along with all the great posts here.
