Yyyyello!
Hi all
I'm not a newcomer to the ideas surrounding lucid dreaming-- I've known about the concept for many years and have always been fascinated by it (and dreams in general). I've lurked many different forums and discussions about it. I am, however, still a beginner when it comes to putting it into practice.
After a few years where I didn't think about it much, I decided to get back into it by really immersing myself in the subject (which helped my recall last time I did). Now that includes reading other people's experiences and journals for inspiration, and actually registering to contribute. My recall has never been great at any point, though it's higher when I'm thinking about the subject and I'll take what I can get.
To date I've only had one lucid dream I can remember-- a ten-second-long one in which I fell into the beginner's trap of exciting myself awake. I'm hoping I'll have better luck from here on out!
