Hey man sounds like your gunna LD'ing in no time... Unlike most people i just get lucid dreams i really have no choice in the matter lol.
Hey, welcome to DreamViews.
You'll find that being here will help you with achieving Lucid Dreams, I know it did me.
I had known about them before I joined, but after I joined, I started having them more frequently.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Hi, welcome to DV!
I think focus is the hardest part of lucid dreaming...not so much recall, because that comes naturally to most of us...
But for me, it's remembering to do reality checks during the day that i find difficult. I have my mind on too many other things!
Hey, thank you very much for your hospitality! :D
I do have the same problems with the reality checks. I only remember them when I am driving...
Well, I am sure that I will made it with the help of this community.
Something else I wanted to tell is that I am writing a Lucid Dream Article for my site(in greek). Any help would be great!
Hi Lexx,
Welcome from a newbie. We're somehow similar: I'm trying to have lucid dreams since one year, more or less, like you.
I used a trick for my reality checks: I put the alarm on my cell phone. Well... it didn't work very fine: I used to think "I'll answer later, I'm too occupied" :)

hehe, i tried such things too! I had only one lucid dream this year. the first and the last until now. Here is the story:
For a month I was reading Stephen LaBerge's book and i was doing all the stuff I should in order to be Lucid. Well, nothing worked. . I decided to stop my efforts for a weak. And the 3rd or 4th day(don't remember exactly), I had the dream! :)
It was a crazy dream.
That's exactly what one of the members of this forum suggested to me: to stop any effort for some time. This confirms that one can receive valuable suggestions here.
I think that your experience is linked to the fact that the mind should be both relaxed and focused. One is definitely more relaxed if doesn't think about dreaming efforts and is focused if the resolution to dream is well active in the background.
Straight resolve to dream but without effort. Like in meditation: don't do any effort, just be straight in acknowledging any thought, without being distracted by it. Or like in autogenic training.
The LD mechanism seems the same.

That is true. I could't agree more. But it is not the only think you have to be aware of. I think that another very importand thing is that most people (included me) beleive that lucidity is something untouchable because you are free to do everything. That is hard to believe! :)
