Have I been sleeping all this time?

Hello to all from sunny South Africa!!

I heard of Lucid dreaming for the first time from a friend in the Netherlands. Since then I have been reading as much as I can. I recognise now that I have had many lucid dreams as a child, but not knowing this feeling had a name!

It feels like I have lost so much time sleeping when I could have had lucid dreams instead!!

It's great to have you...and it's very cool that you have already experienced lucid dreams from childhood. It should be pretty easy to get back into it. The first step is to start a dream journal to improve your dream recall.
