I'm new...yea...
I recently found a YouTube vid discussing lucid dreaming and after some searching for people to talk to about it, I found this site and decided to join.
So far, I've had lucid dreams in the past, but I've been unable to induce one myself, though I've had...visions, I guess, or mini dreams? I don't know, but it consists of this one city that I've been trying to get back into. The reason I've been trying to see it again is that based on what I've seen so far, I THINK it's a city in a novel I attempted to write for NaNoWriMo last year and I want to see if that's it.
If I am just starting out, should I be bothered to try and get this city to pop up again, or should I just go along for the brain train express for now and try to get better at becoming lucid first before I go trying to get this to appear again?
Hopefully, what I'm asking makes sense. I've been told I can be cryptic at times.

Hi there Stenthen :welcome: nice that you had some lucid dreams already - so you know what it feels like to be aware that your dreaming~This can help - remember to remember the feeling of being lucid when you do your RC moments during waking life as recapturing the feeling can help to have more lucidity :)
Either way :) incorporate the city scape into your wish and intention tobe lucid - that's loosely called incubation - or not anyway see how it goes but deffinatelly read up in Mild and Dild in the DreamViews introduction bit coz it will help - see you around!

Ah, I see! Thank you for the tips and warm welcome! I will look into those things then.

Welcome to the group Stanthen :) You can make reaching the city your main lucid dream goal. It can work as a motivator for your lucid dream practice. I hope you reach your city soon! ~ :offtobed:
