Hello from Germany :)
Moin!
(it's spoken out like "coin" but with a M .. simply: MOIN) :)
Meaning: Hello, Hi, Goodbye, Good day, Good Morning, Good night, nice to see you / nice to see you too, long time no see.
Okay okay, maybe I'm just a little bit kidding. But "Moin" you say here in North Germany for Good Morning, Good Day, Good Night - simply just when you see a person and want to gift her a small amount of attention.
So: Hi there! Moin!
I am living with my wife in North Germany. We both are interested in lucid dreaming since some weeks. I have just found you guys by a google search and stumbled upon "King Yoshi's ADA Tutorial", as it was mentioned in one of the German LD Forums. Though my english is a little bit rusty, I love to exchange thoughts, ideas, hints and tricks. Though we are far away from each other, we are close to each other in our thoughts.
In my free time, beside my other hobbies, I love to code (PHP), which are helping me making my life easier. I've written a small dream journal script. It just records an input text and writes it in a weekly-named text file (each week one file). The Input site changes its size depending on your screen; I use it on my laptop as well as on my mobile device. If you are interested in it, you may ask me per PM or maybe I find a good place here in the forum to post it in a matching topic category.
I am working with Binaural Beats and am experimenting with it for myself; As well as I write a Dream Journal, I write a Frequency Journal, too to keep record of my experiences. Binaural Beats are helping to manipululate the frequency of my brain; it's easy for me to induce sleep; deep sleep and sometimes switch to a lucid dream, as well. If you like to get a glimpse and want to understand how our brain synchronizes to the rythms, you may love to watch the introduction video on NeurostreamsDOTde (not my site; I don't want to link them directly because they sell courses). If you scroll down at the page, you can see a nice video of many metronoms synchronizing similar as our brain does to these frequencies.
I am still experimenting with these Binaural Beats; I'm still in progress with it. I need some more calibration with the frequencies; sometimes really strange effects occour - lol - :D And I record them in my journal.
I am a great fan of DILD and combine it with the 5-4-3-2-1 technique of Yvonne Dolan. I am a newbie in lucid dreaming; at the moment I count about 3 lucid dreams.
I've searched for people who also dream lucid; that's how I found you.
I'm very pleased to be here. If some of my sentences seem to be unclear to you or my expression is a bit weird; please ask. I'm kind, humourous and honest.
We will hear from each other soon in some threads :)
Gute Nacht (good night).
Sorieno
PS: I'm not interested in politics; though I'm not interested to talk about it. I'm here for fun, to meet new people and to exchange thoughts. Anyone is welcomed by heart. No matter of skin colour, beliefs, origin, religions, gender, sexual orientation, disabilities or anything else. We all are unique. We all are one. Thanks for gifting me your time. Let's make this world a better place. And yeah, call me a hippie if you like to ;)

I look forward to seeing you around more. :content:

Hallo! Willkommen! Ich lerne deutsch aber mein deutsch ist nicht toll. Sowieso, du bist an der richtigen Stelle gekommen. Ich wünsche dir Glück mit deinem Träumen!

Moin Sorieno,
Super interested in what kind of reasearch you are doing with Binural Beats, haven't really been able to start myself but i see so many possibilities with them.
hope to see you around the forum :-)

Moin AnotherDreamer, lunagoddess & oneironautics :) Thank you well for having me welcomed warmly.
Anotherdreamer: Yes, I guess you will soon see my postings in some of the parts of this wonderful forum :)
lunagoddess: Ich verstehe dein Deutsch sehr gut. "Sowieso" is quite right, but sounds strange in that sentence; I would love to correct it friendly to: "Auf jedenfall" [Auf jeden Fall bist du an die richtige Stelle gekommen / Auf jedenfall bist du hier richtig] but keep on going! You are on a very good way. Where do you learn german? What are your favourite resources for learning German? Here are some courses I always love to tell to interested persons: goetheDOTde/ins/de/en/kur.html and dwDOTcom/en/learn-german/s-2469 . Both are, of course, free of any charge. For having a cheat sheet (or a learning resource) for the german verb tables, please have a look at verbformenDOTcom, even I use it from time to time, because sometimes, some German verbs are even tricky for me.
Okay, back to topic :D
oneironautics: Thank you well and greetings to Sweden! (I love it - a beautiful country, nice people and great Indie Music :D )
I am doing researches on my own with the help of a frequency table: lunarsightDOTcom/freq.htm , even if some of the described effects seem a little bit strange to me, but worth trying it on my own. Be careful when using Binaural Beats; don't exxagerate it. Be gentle to your brain :)
When it comes to Software, I try to only use opensource Software. My favorite is Binality (virtualarenasDOTcom/binality), the new BETA is also startable as a Web Application. I've just uploaded it to my webspace and was impressed about the good function. The Binaural Beats are directly codable as an XML-File. Here is an example (from their website) :
Code:
<program name="Sleep Induction" description="Helps with getting to sleep (60 minutes)">
<voice length="3600">
<frequency time="0">12.0</frequency>
<frequency time="30">10.0</frequency>
<frequency time="60">8.0</frequency>
<frequency time="240">6.0</frequency>
<frequency time="480">4.0</frequency>
<frequency time="840">3.0</frequency>
<frequency time="1200">2.0</frequency>
<frequency time="1560">1.5</frequency>
<frequency time="1920">2.0</frequency>
<frequency time="2280">1.5</frequency>
<frequency time="2640">2.0</frequency>
<frequency time="3000">1.5</frequency>
<frequency time="3360">2.0</frequency>
<frequency time="3600">1.5</frequency>
<volume time="0">0.0</volume>
<volume time="10">1.0</volume>
<volume time="3570">1.0</volume>
<volume time="3600">0.0</volume>
</voice>
</program>
It's 3600 seconds (1 hour) long and flows smooth from frequency to frequency. I guess the script is selfexplaining. The volumetime below in the script means: Fade in, Hold volume, Fade out.
I use to create own soundfiles; I often take a background noise (sound of the sea, for example) as well as some free Sound Effects (or own created 3D-Effects) and some suggestion, to induce peace, calm, rest, sleep and dreams for my friends which are not accustomed to listen to plain Sinustones. I, for myself, only use plain sinustones. I'm used to listen to them and can easily switch and my brain synchronize to the sounds easily. But often I get in a mixture state of thinking, sleeping, dreaming and lucid dreaming; I don't know yet if there's a special term for it for you experienced users :)
So, have a nice day! It's 3.30 pm here already. The sun is shining and I will now go out and cheerish the day :) Hear you all soon. Xoxo
Gute Nacht,
Sorieno

Moin, moin,
From the heavy woodlands to the southwest of you.
Nice clear way to see the frequencies. Thanks for sharing! Will try and find the time to listen... got lots of code to write.
Here's an example, also codeable as XML, of some open source code - wrote it myself! :cooler:

A term that could cover it is wake induced. That state is righteous!
