Hello everyone
So this is my first time posting, but I am no stranger to lucid dreaming. I'm experiencing a recurring dream of the same thing, flying, floating, hovering daily, except the plot changes. I can distinctly recall when being asked in the dream how I can do it, and my reply is always that I'm dreaming and can do anything. Mostly pleasant dreams, very rarely scary, but if they are i can wake myself up, shake my head a few times and return to the same dream, only in a pleasant scenario. It happens every time I go to sleep. Sometimes I recognize the people in the dream. I've even shared the same dream with a close friend and we floated together in the dream and we both remembered it the next day. It's a pretty cool and interesting thing to be able to remember every dream I have and to be able to do the same tasks and be able to tell curious people in my dreams that I am aware I am dreaming at the time. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Would be nice to share with others and not think I am bat poop crazy by people who don t understand. Thanks

Welcome! This is the right place to share dreams, for sure. I also looked for an online community after my first successful LD that I kept together longer than a few seconds. I shared it with my dad right after waking up, but he told me I was lying and lucid dreaming isn't real.
I haven't had shared dreams yet, as far as I know, but I've had dreams that sort of foretold future events. I do not easily accept that dreams hold some sort of mystical power to connect minds or tell the future, so I'll wait for more experiences before changing my mind. But there are people on this forum that report sharing dreams, so I'm sure you'll find like-minded folk.
See you around! :)

Welcome to the forum!
Like Letaali said, this forum is the perfect place to talk about your dreams. If you ask around, a ton of people (myself included) have a similar situation - where those close to them in real life either aren't interested in lucid dreaming or act like they're crazy for bringing it up. Around here, we all understand that dreams are kinda crazy and weird - but that's just why we love them!
Looking forward to hearing some of your experiences. Let us know if you have any questions, and feel free to stop by the IRC chat.
