      Arrow Hello (again)!

      Hey everyone!

I'm Timo and just yesterday I reminisced about the good old times when I was frequently LDing and how I really got into LDing when I joined dreamviews back in January 2016. This made me want to go back to LDing. I really want to try to get back to my old level or even beyond that.

So, here I am, 20 years old, in my 3rd year of university and really eager to get back to LDing. After watching a few YouTube videos on the topic yesterday before bedtime I actually became lucid for what I recall to have unfortunately been only a few seconds. But hey, that's something at least! Nevertheless, I felt absolutely amazing waking up knowing I've had a LD that night.

Does anyone of you have advice on how I can quickly get back to having regular LDs?

      Regards

      Welcome back!

What you need is a to make a good plan and follow it throughout. Start by having a good sleep schedule, writing down your dreams and also incorporating lucid practice during the day.
Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.

      Cheers NyxCC!

I'm trying to establish a solid sleep schedule and I'm already writing down my dreams in a journal. What exactly do you mean by "lucid practice during the day"? Do you mean RCs and the likes?

I've been lucid dreaming for nearly 10 years now (I can't believe it!) and I take a lot of time off between practicing it. I don't know why, I wish I had the motivation to try every single night...anyway, what helps me get back into the groove of things is to just write my dreams down for a couple nights. Reality checks definitely help but I feel like I don't need to do them as much anymore. The #1 thing that works, for me, is to keep up with the dream journal, without that I'm useless!
