Thanks for the welcome back, everyone. So, any big changes happened in the last few years? I figured traffic would slow as social media took off. I was here before Facebook got big lol, when forums were still in their hayday. The flurry of threads that used to come daily... I remember this super long thread that was just hundreds of pages of rap battles lol. Me and Oneironaut went back and forth a bit, god those were the days....
Hi, welcome back! I've still been lurking, but it's been quite a while since I've had much to say. Unfortunately, activity on the forum has been way down compared to several years back. :( On the other hand, it seems chat has picked up a bit.
I originally joined roughly around the time you did and then dropped out for quite a few years before coming back. When I did, I found a ton of great stuff that I never expected to find; I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that some of the best advice here could literally be life-changing. I highly recommend browsing through the popular posts made over the last few years. (Just be sure to set aside a lot of time for it—it might be really hard to stop! ;))
As for recent history here, a couple of years or so back, the site went through some rough times as things started breaking and the site owners were less than responsive to the forum admins' pleas. Eventually, the admins managed to take ownership of the site, so now things are in better hands. :)
