      Hi there!

Hi there! You can just call me Cinder.

I had a big interest in lucid dreaming back in high school, and it helped me cope with a lot of problems I was experiencing at the time. As I grew up, it was an interest that remained in the back of my mind, but things got too busy and life got more hard.

A few weeks ago, without even trying, I had a lucid dream two nights in a row - and they were something else. Very telling, and the euphoria I experienced after waking up felt like a sign that it was time to pull that interest from the back of my mind.

I really don't remember how many lucid dreams I've had - it's been over 10 years now since I first got into it, and my interest has come and gone every now and again. But I'd like to be more serious about it and get back into actively practicing them, mostly for my own mental health. I've bought supplements that used to help me and my next step is buying an eye mask - nothing fancy like the REM trigger ones, just something to block the light out, as I'm (unfortunately) a VERY light sleeper :)

Hope to get along with you all!

Hi and welcome to Dream Views! We are happy to have you here.

Eye masks can be helpful if you can stand wearing them (I always woke up with mine of the floor). An alternative is black-out curtains or black-out peel and stick window covers. Also, you might like ear plugs.

Have fun exploring the forums. You may like to check out the Tasks of the Month and Year, and also the Book Club.

Good luck and see you around!

      Welcome oneironaut! great to hear!
Same here have been on and off LDing. time to team up again! I'm exercising a bit with the old REM. In my opinion I don't think it's good to wear it every day, just saying. But anyways, we can share some experiences once you get yours and try it!
