Hi I am New to Lucid Dream

Today afternoon I had a Dream

I was playing PC Video games and I was thinking how come I have reached this level I could not even clear the first Level and then my game character went Inside a Cave and I could only see the opening of the Cave and I started searching for him and then I picked up my keyboard and mouse and ran to the cave. Now when I reached the cave I did not have my keyboard with me and I saw many people lying down injured near the entrance of the Cave.
Now some girl said to me that a girl is roaming around who has a quirk (Super Natural power) so I went inside the cave and hid from her And then I woke up.

I did Not get Lucid in this Dream …

I started writing down my dream in my Dream Journal on Nov 21 and since then I have not written more than 3 words. This is the first time I could write a Paragraph...

Good job increasing your recall. Keep up this practice. Lucid dreams tend to come when recall is at least 3+ dreams remembered a night, with good detail. So, you've got 1 down. It's progress. I want to make sure I am not misleading though - although recall is almost a sure requirement for lucid dreaming to occur, recalling 3+ dreams a night won't necessarily result in lucid dreams. You will want to look at strategies and techniques, too.

I recommend starting the practice of reality checking by counting your fingers. Do this frequently in the day time, preferably to situations that you have pre-determined to be a trigger for you. So, for example, every time someone says your name, look at your hands and count your fingers. Eventually, this should bleed over into your dream life, giving you opportunities to become lucid. This is called prospective memory building, and it's a great way to increase DILDs.

Good luck!

Also - as you seem to like video games - make sure you have a blue light filter on your computer. Blue light after sunset can mess with the circadian rhythm, and that is essential for proper dream recall.

One tip that's helped me a lot with dream recall is when I'm in bed and ready to wind down for sleep to spend at least several minutes each night on the way to sleep willing and intending to remember your dreams in great detail. Try to narrow your thoughts to this alone while doing it.
