Vintage Member Returns
Hey all,
I was a very active member approximately 2007-2010. Not quite long enough ago to label vintage on eBay but the term suffices here in relativity. When I first found DV I was a 12 year old girl pretending to be 15 so I didn’t get kicked from chat, haha. I am grown now, I have three children and two degrees in psychology. I am a professor. I guess my interests in the subconscious proved enduring. ;)
I have had nightmares every night since I was a young child and I owe this community for teaching me the techniques to conquer my dreams and the fears that seem to infest them. Techniques which I’ve used throughout the years when my anxiety brings them back around. Here I am again. I hope to not only return to my dream journey but become a valuable community member once again.
I had a dream several years back when I was on a deep spiritual journey amidst life crisis. I have deemed it “The Library.” I believe this place to be different than most dream spaces, it had a sturdiness to it. The dream characters were what I call “whole,” they had substance outside of my own creation. It will be the first dream I put in my dream journal here and it is the place I’d like to return to. I want to see my mom again. I’d love to hear from any others that have had similar experiences, maybe not in content but in context.

...back. (they mean) :D I love hearing that you let dreams draw you further in rather than chasing you off, and helped make you more curious/explorative of how they interact with our brains/minds/emotional sets. Look forward to hearing more about this Library; and remember there is no end (except for our own limits) to how much we can dream, recall, and communicate to others. I have found that practice (study) to be reward in and of itself. So yes, welcome back.

Welcome back! Glad to hear you’ve incorporated dream life practices into your daily life. And what a journey it has been! Good luck on your library quest!
