Waking up techniques
Hey guys :)
I turned 16 yesterday, and for me, that means time for New Year's resolutions! (I know, it's wierd) This yeard I decided to go back to previous resolutions and make sure I complete them this time around, one of them is to reach much more frequent states of lucid dreaming (currently I have lucid dreams twice a month aproxximately, and I usually always wake up from them)
Currently I'm going to be working on my dream recall a while, but I need to be able to wake up multiple times at night. The alarm clock is pretty much out of the question since all the rooms in my house are bunched together, and my alarm clock makes a LOT of noise. I could get another one, but I'd like to try something else first.
Would it work if I drank a ridiculous amount of water before I went to sleep, then everytime i wake up to pee drink more so I can keep track of my dreams during pee breaks? Or is sleep interrupted by pee breaks at the wrong periods of sleep?

Water will work well, ebacse it wakes you up at the right times. the best time to remember dreams is just when you leave your deepest REM state. You will onlyt be aware that you have to pee in the lighter stages of sleep, after the deep ones. taht means you'll wkae up ASAP ;)

Aw :(, I just discovered I have trouble falling asleep when I full of water.

You would always try to get the whole family and involved so when you set the alarm clock, every one will happily wake up in the middle of the night :P

during the day before you go to bed, you could try telling yourself over and over that you are going to wake up at a set time in the morning. Before you go to sleep, try visualising the time in bright neon painted on the wall, and tell yourself that's the time you want to awake.
I know i've tried it in the past, and it's worked for me.
