Well, i'm a newb
hey everyone! Well, i just found this site a few days ago. It's very helpful. I've been having lucid dreams on and off for a few years, but never knew what they were called or much about them. I've had one since i joined, probably from reading about them, and am amazed at how much control you can have over them. My past experiences were low-lucidity dreams, probably just because I didn't really know all of the stuff I could do. Do a reality check NOW! :P

WILD
yeah, i know i'm mostly a newb, but i tried WILD (yes i read the tutorial a few times) but i cant seem to get it. any help for someone who is borderlining ADD?

ADD, huh? Join the club :P I've never been able to manage WILD, myself... dunno that it has anything to do with ADD, though. Anyways, I haven't got ADD badly, and not the hyperactive sort, thank goodness.
Seems to me that MILD and just plain reality-checks work best for me, of the methods I've tried. But then I'm a natural (that means "born with the ability to have lucid dreams"--an accident of genetics, I suppose) so my skill level is pretty low with all of those methods; most of my LD's are "accidental"--I just realize I'm dreaming without much of a reality check, or one at all. And like I've said, I can't do WILD, or at least haven't managed it so far.
I'm starting to wonder whether there's a WILD/hypnosis connection, and thinking to see if I can't get someone to hypnotize me to see what it feels like, so I can do it myself...
