Old dreams!!!Did someone have one like this?
When i was about 12-14 years old, i used to have a bad dream...i cannot call it a nightmare because it was more like a mystery dream(very vivid, scary and sometimes haunting)!
That dream is the one i cannot forget, for two reasons:
First - It was the dream i have the greatest number of times until it stops completely at about 14 years old.
Second - It was like a game of images and i never find any association or explanation for it.(maybe there isn´t).
Well i´ll try to resume it:
In the dream i was in a forest or a big farm with many trees. There was a big hill with a house on top of it.I was near this house but not much. The house was old and a bit scary but i cannot turn my back to it...like a strange attraction between us exist!!
I stay frozen looking at it but i needed to come closer (like a force pulling me), but when i reach it i have to run away no matter how.Like a race of fear against happiness...the oposites are frequently related in my emotions and feelings of that dream.
Just me, the forest and this house. There was nobody else.
Basic but frightening. And even today i think that house exists(its very confusing and may be i´m tottally wrong).I am now 27 and my opinion after reading some stuff is that some obstacles we have in the real life reflects in our dreams perhapps untill we surpass them.
Was it the case?
Can i recall the dream?(i´m not shure if i want to).
Who have similar experiences please post them for all of us can share.
Stay well and,
Happy Dreams

Re: Old dreams!!!Did someone have one like this?
Welcome, 2Dream.
I, personally, haven't had a repeating dream, so I don't claim to be an expert, but as a student of lucid dreaming, I know that it's possible to revisit past dreams. I don't think that it would be exactly the same, persay, though it could, but it still could produce a similar replica.
I have had many dreams where I am being chased, and once when I was telling someone she asked me, "Well, have you ever let them catch you?" Even though I haven't been lucid on those occasions, sometimes the pursuers have caught up to me and it's never as bad as I've made things out to be. Even if it's not the same, if you can still find that house and your dreams and enter it, you may find some answers, or at least some closure. Even if something bad happens in the dream, at least you have another starting point from which to work. I wouldn't worry too much, though, for as I mentioned, it's almost never as bad as it seems.
Out of curiosity, you mentioned it being a "game of images". What did you mean by that, out of curiosity? I hope we can help out.
