Hello
I recently began studying lucid dreaming. I'm currently reading Laberge's Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming.
I feel I'm a good candidate for achieving lucidity, as I have good dream recall(I remember dreams I have nearly every night), and my dream get pretty wild . :o
I have also began keeping a dream journal, as well as doing reality checks.
Two prominent themes in my dreams are:
1. Driving/going places.
2. Landscapes altered from the way they are in waking hours.
I look forward to learning and sharing.

LaBerge's EWoLD is probably the best book for a beginner to read, I'd call it the bible of lucid dreaming.
keeping a journal even though you already have good dream recall? you get a real, non-virtual applause from me. keeping a dream journal can make good recall even better, and you can use the recorded dreams to help you with certain techniques.
if you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

good book...
welcome! i just found and joined this forum myself, due to reading "exploring the world.." (It seems most people here have).
i am confident you will be lucid dreaming in no time. personally, i have been interested in LD'ing for a couple years now, and read articles on it occasionally, but could never break through (due to being lazy more than anything). i gave up on it for awhile, but a few months ago started keeping a dream journal again.
Then, a couple weeks ago, i bought and read the book. Within the first week i had a couple partially lucid dreams, including one in which i consciously flew into the blue yonder. *laughs* -i awoke shouting YES! in my head at finally acheiving success. and now most nights i'm 'on the brink' of full-blown lucidity.
good luck, and perhaps keep us updated on this thread as you progress. i know personally i'd love to hear how it goes...

Welcome to both of you, Worlds Within & Asher :!:
It sounds like both of you have a good start. Good dream recall and confidence are key factors to lucid dreaming!
I too would be interested in your progress.
Oh, yes... And take it from Hysteria, A journal is the way to go. :D
