Cellar Door

Hello Dreamers,
I found this site through "stumbleupon". It's a site that generates random website that it thinks you will like. This was the first thing I stubledupon on my new computer. :)

The first time I had a LD: I was dreaming of walking up a hill to my dorm on campus (it's a very small, liberal arts college isolated in the mountains of Vermont). I was looking down at the snow, all white, and suddenly I became conscious that I was dreaming. To test myself I thought of something, something simple, the two words - "Cellar Door", refrenced in the movie Donnie Darko. I had only thought the words, but upon thinking them, two people suddenly appeared in front of me walking down to me. They walked up and said very loudly and clearly "Cellar Door!"
It shocked my body so thoroughly that I woke up.

That was the first.

Now I have some big questions about astralprojection, and prophetic dreams. I think I may have travelled to another world, like a real other planet, and put myself into some very real danger. The past week I've been dreaming about natural disasters, and animals being born deformed, and political wars, lots of chaos with the world. And in the dreams I've started to notice my "speed" in veiwing these things. In one dream I veiwed all those things at once (or rather in one sitting...sleeping...) and while I switched between veiws without waking up I noticed that I was moving with incredible speeds, and only forcing myself to slow down to veiw things in detail. I moved so fast and covered so much area, and saw so much... I woke up very tired, and sore to my stomach.
And I'm afraid that the dream was more prophetic than anything. But how do I know?

I can't really offer up much advice about your dreams...just know that our minds certainly have a way of playing tricks on us and dreams are certainly nothing ordinary. No one can really say whether or not you are having prophetic dreams until whatever being prophesized happens...unfortunately.

As far as astral projection...you would most likely need to be a very skilled lucid dreamer or very skilled with meditation in order to accomplish this. Perhaps you saw something that has sparked these dreams. Recurring dreams to me are a result of our own minds. We have a dream that we think is strange, and then we think about it. Then our thinking about it causes us to have the same or a similar dream the next night, and maybe the next night.

But I can't really say, because there's still so much that we do not know so I'd like to believe that anything is possible. As far as you travelling to another planet, some might say it's entirely possible...but most wouldn't. ;)
