      Thank you for the welcome

      I want to thank everyone who submitted their welcomes to me. I am grateful. I have started my dream journal. I have only one entry but luckily it was nothing too uncomfortable. I will post updates on common things that I see, and hopefully I might be able to identify dreamsigns.(with some assistance.)
      I've often had nightmare of tornados and silliest of all Zombies! I know in waking life they don't exist and to see them must mean I am dreaming. Although my surroundings would be very surreal in these dreams I still cannot confirm that I am not afraid or in danger. What does one do in this case to attain comfort or change the situation?

      Hey, let me add one more welcome!

      Tornado's! I grew up in the midwest where we had them all the time. They used to be a central feature in many of my dreams.

      Unfortunately, since I learned about lucid dreams and began doing fun things like flying into the, they seem to have vanished!

      Welcome to Dream Views.

      I have had a hard time becoming lucid, though I did kick myself after a guy in my dreams was talking about reality checks. Just get the idea firmly in your mind that the next time you see a tornado, be it in a dream, on TV, or on the internet, you will question whether or not you're dreaming and do a reality check. The same thing with zombies.

      Really, the big thing is practice. Just keep it up and you'll have lucids in no time. Let us know if there's anything we can do for you.
