Another Question
Ok, I've got another question if someone would be gracious enough to help me :)
Since I started back to college for the semster, I've been pretty stressed out, and have been having problems even being able to recall a non Lucid dream let alone be able to have a lucid one. Things have calmed down a little and I have been able to sleep better, but I still cant seem to even recall my dreams, which is very different from the sucess I was having before going back to school. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could possibly overcome this?

Hey Allen. I had the same problem when I was in my final year of school. It takes a while to get back into the swing of things. What I would recomend is to keep a journal, even if you are only remembering fragments of dreams. Also if you have time do as many WBTB (wake back to bed) sleeps as you can. After you go to sleep for the second time dreams should be much easier to remember and recall. Hope this helps. George

Ah stress... it's pure evil and kills dream recall. I've had the same problem of late, so I'm set myself some free time in the day just to chill out and write my dream journal.
So yeah, to get your recall back keep a journal and try this if you're ever under any stress again.

Thanks for the replies. I havent started to keep a journal yet, but I think I'll start to see if it helps. It seems like I remember more dreams on the weekends when I know I dont have much to do the next day, so it probably is the stress factor thats causing the problem. Hopefully it will get better

Also, try staying in bed for a bit in the morning. Don't be in too much of a rush to get up and get going, or you're going to kill the amount of dreams you'll be able to recall. I understand it's not always possible with school going on, but whenever you can, try it.

I am actually one of those people that does rush around even when I dont have to. I get up way too early, and get to class way too early too. That could definatley be a factor for my dream recall seeing how I remember dreams better on the weekends when I just lay around all day and do nothing :)

I am excited to report that the taking a nap during the day thing worked, and I was finally able to have a lucid again. Actually it was the most "lucid" one I have had, so that was pretty cool. Thanks for the suggestion Alex :)
