Trying to lucid dream again

I first learned about it back in May of '05, and spent about a month or so trying to lucid dream. I've came close once, only to have myself interrupted when my MP3 player (which had been playing some LD inducer, which I forgot to set to loop) starting blasting out "IT'S PEANUT BUTTA JELLY TIME!". Since then, I've given up, but after my friend had his first LD, I'm giving it another shot. My question to you is, where to start? Should I launch right back into it with the inducer? Or should I read about it for a bit and try some other techniques? I'm a bit impatient, but as long as I have some support and direction, I'll read up on it.

First up welcome to the forum!

Now I suggest that you try keeping a dream journal and do reality checks, then when you've got good recall try doing some of the induction techniques like WILD and MILD.
