Curious
Hi, im very curious and interested in lucid dreaming and would like to extend my knowledge and ability in the subject. I think i have had a lucid dream before where i realised i was dreaming within a dream but very breifly and maybe twice or thrice in my whole life.
I like the idea that i am able to improve and potentially control the path of my dream where before i stumbled across this site i thought it was a thing of chance.
Lately i have been taking naps during the day because of sleep deprivation from nights before. I keep feeling like im inbetween sleep and awake some strange middle ground or a very light sleep state. it feels like my eyes are slightly open because i can make out shapes from my room but also can see strange lucid movements within the room figures hovering over me very realistically also spiders and people pulling out guns and holding them to my face which was quite interesting. Im wondering if this is lucid dreaming and if anyone else experienced anything similar.
Cheers :-P

First up, welcome to Dreamviews, enjoy your stay.
Now that sounds to me like the early stages of a WILD to me, in future, if you have time just go along with these until you get into dream. You might just get lucid. ;)

I've found that daytime naps are great for lucid dreams. I have some of my clearest dreams during short naps.

Cool cool.. i just read up about WILD and its sounds like a very interesting process to me.
It sounds really hard to keep concentrated and let yourself sleep but kind of familiar.
I'll keep at it because im a bit stubborn sometimes ;). Im going to start recording some dream memories down and keep a dream journal on my computer.
thanks :D

Welcome, Daemon. :D
We also have a place where you can journal your dreams right here at DV. Well, it's good to hear that you're off to a good start. Let us know if you have any questions.
