New to lucid dreaming, looking to gain more knowledge.
Hi,
My name is Chad, a friend of mine has been speaking to me of lucid dreaming for awhile now and I haven't truely became interested until just today after spending two hours reading "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming". Now I'm overwhelmed with excitement and interest on this topic. I Have had one lucid dream the night after first hearing of it and another that lasted only a few seconds, only being awakened from the overwhelming pleasure of being able to control everything at the flick of the wrist. I have just started this book today and am already on page fifty where Stephen LaBerge starts to talk about REM's ( Rapid eye movement ) and some techniques of creating more calm situations for your mind and body to have a greater chance of obtaining lucidity.
I'm not sure what the community is like on this forum so I'll end up doing alot of reading as apposed to replying to topics that don't apply to me. I'm always looking to gain more knowledge in the area, so if your an experienced lucid dreaming don't be afraid to give me a PM and ask if I could use your help.
I have somewhere to go now but I'll post my first lucid dream which lasted what seemed to be the longest and is the most vivid.
Just saying hi and I hope to learn more through these forums.
