Excited
Okay, I'm fairly new to the whole lucid dreaming thing, but I find it incredibly interesting. My uncle mentioned it to me a few months ago. He told me that it was possible to get into a state where you can control your dreams. At first, I didn't believe him. But now I know it IS possible, I'm supremely excited at the prospect, and want to start as soon as possible.
So basically I'm looking for any tips, ideas, stories, etc for a beginner. And I really am a beginner. I've never tried this before. This is a great site, and a great forum, and a great subject. Wonderful. Look forward to replies.

Hello and Welcome!
Beginner Tip #1 - Start a dream journal! If you've already done this, you're on the right track. This should immediately help with recall.
Most of the members here are extremely helpful if you need any advice. Good Luck!

Welcome zooeyglass03!
There are tons of info at the tutorials section. http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=16
It could take a while to have a Lucid Dream, but it is well worth the wait

Welcome to Dream Views, eyeglass :) We're glad to have you here.
The tutorials are probably the best place to start, though burns's suggestion of keeping a journal of your dreams would be a step in the right direction. I'd recommend checking out the reality-checking tutorial first, actually.
Anyway, if you have any questions just let us know. Sweet lucid dreams!
