I dont think its like pyshical dangerous but what if its not actually a real memory? and one u made up but didnt relize it? :o
Well, the danger has to do with what kinda skeletons you have in your closet. Many people that undergo severe trauma, at some point in their lives, end up blocking the memories from their consciousness. This is not necessarily a voluntary thing. Many times the mind just refuses to bring that memory back to the 'big screen' of your consciousness because it was a trauma that was 'probably best off forgotten.'Quote:

Well, while lucid dreaming, you have access to your subconscious mind that you don't necessarily have while you're awake. Those memories, whether good or bad, that were, for whatever reason, blocked out of your mind are there for you to rediscover, either voluntarily or involuntarily.
This can be good, because you can remember something that you've long since forgotten, that brings you great joy in remembering it once again. It can be Dangerous because, depending on how horrible the trauma or memory of the trauma is, you can end up bringing back to light something that has a severe psychological effect on you.
Memories are blocked for a reason. You subconscious thought you would be safer without the recall of the event. And here is one other thing to realize. You are who you are. Remembering something in the past, especially bad, does not improve your life. Ignorance is bliss.
That's one perspective, but not universally true.
Many memories, over time, are simply forgotten, and not necessarily "blocked." "Blocked" is an ambiguous term, because after something is forgotten, no matter how hopelessly, you can Still have access to retrieving them while lucid dreaming. I'm not sure how bad all of Your memories are, but to say ignorance of all memories (not to mention All things) is bliss, is to have a pretty bleak outlook on life, in my opinion.
I have lived in the Land of Bleak, on the edge of the Volcano of Despair. Frodo and I don't have much farther to go.
Seriously, that is true. More memories are simply forgotten than blocked. Blocked memories are almost entirely related to traumas.
I'm only referencing the Matrix with "ignorance is bliss" comment. We don't really live in a world like that. But you must agree ignorance leaves people with a lack of responsibility.
Yup, that's true. Just stating that it's not the only way it goes, but it definitely goes that way.
