Hey everybody im new!!
Hey everybody! Im brand new to the site this is my first post. A few years ago, I became interested in having an oobe. Actually I kinda became obsessed over having one. I bought a few books on having an oobe and I kinda skipped the basics cause i was so impatient and went straight to the advance techniques.
After weeks of trying these advanced techniques i think i felt what was the beginning to an oobe. I started to feel this pulling feeling like something was sucking me out of my room and i found myself so scared that i was actually trying to stop myself from going into the oobe. It was too intense. :!:
Then i found out about lucid dreams. I had my first lucid dream a few months ago and I found it to be incredibly fun! The only problem was that i quickly lost focus and forgot i was in a dream. So ive been setting out to improve my Lucid dream skills and i ended up here!
So umm whats up? :D

OBO
Welcome to the site! I agree OBEs are pretty intense and can be scary. I was personally scared to death when I did them.

Hi there. I personally only had two OBE's in my life and that was when I was a child. Just like you I was scared but I remebered that there is nothing to fear. You can not sustain any damage or pain from having a OBE no matter what you view.
My first OBE was amazing, I literally came out of my body and saw my self sleeping, then I went over to my friends house. He was still awake and writing stories (which I never knew he did). The next day at school I went to him and asked "How's the story coming? Is Kyle (the main charecter) going to win the fight with that monster or what?." He said "How did you know I wrote stories and how did you know his name is Kyle :o ." I smiled and said sarcasticlly "I'm psychic." After that I explained what had happened.
But also becareful in choosing what you want to try to view because my second OBE I saw something I that stayed with me for my whole life (and I don't mean in the good way).
I know this all sounds a little farfetched but it's the truth
I hope you do attain this ability. When used correctlly it can be ALOT of fun. :D

Welcome! When I first read that, I thought you said Oboe, as in the instrument! :D
I've never had an OBE.... or a lucid dream. But, I need to increase my dream recall before I try to have one anyway....
Soooooooo anyways..... welcome! Good luck with improving your lucid dreams!
