Ok so my 3rd lucid dream and I kinda felt like I was dreaming since I was in the wrong class, but I do a RC looking at the words and looking back and it wouldn't change I did it like 6 times. So I didn't fully believe I was LD until I started losing control which I had to keep fighting it.
So to all you guys why did that RC not work? also what are some real good ways to maintaining my lucid dream. I'm going for a 4th right now.
Not all RCs work equally well for all people. You have to find one that works well for you. Personally, I like doing the one where pinch my nose and try to breathe through it -- hasn't failed me yet.
Also, it probably helps if, when you do a reality check, you expect the result to be that you are dreaming. Expectations are everything in dreams, and if you expect that the text in your book is not going to change, then it probably won't even if you are dreaming. OTOH, if you do expect it to change, and you are not dreaming, it's not going to change no matter how much you want it to -- well, unless you're hallucinating, but for now we'll rule out that possibility. :D

I had a feeling that would be possible, for me to try and see if the words change and it stays.
I'll probably try the nose breathing, thing tonight as I think i can have a LD everyday.
I'v found that the nose pinch is the best RC for me, if I'm still not convinced I try to jump up onto something that is much to high to jump up on. Defying gravity is always a sure thing.
