Hello everybody!
Hi. I poked around here for a while and decided this looked like a nice place to settle in. I'm new to this, and I hope that being with group of people with the same interest will help motivate me to keep with it.
I'm 16, and have only had one lucid dream that I can remember, and that was when I was about 11. I didn't even know there was a name for what that was until about a week ago. So I started keeping a dream journal this week. I want to work on remembering my dreams right now, and hopefully move onto harder stuff later.
I do a lot of art in my spare time. I hope that having lucid dreams can help my creativity, since I'm not very creative at all. I'm more of a perfectionist, and while that's helpful when I work with photorealism, I feel like it's a bit of a handicap in other areas. (Feel free to check out my gallery if you have some time.)
I look forward to spending some time here and getting to know you all.

Welcome. How is the dream journal going? Is your recall getting better?

Hello, Shinyboot. (I like your name. It's sparklin' happy!)
Wow! Your art is amazing! I'm more of a writer, but there are times I wish I could put my characters down on paper. Have you played around much with computer graphics at all?
Anyway, I wish you the best of luck in become lucid and if there's anything we can help you with just feel free to ask. Sweet lucid dreams!

Thanks for the warm welcome you guys!
The dream journal is really helpful. I used to remember one or two dreams a week on average, and now I'm remembering two or more a night.
Unfortunately I haven't had much experience with digital art. I just don't have access to any of the right equiptment. I would like to try it out sometime, though. It looks like it could be fun.
