New here (duh)
I am new to this forum. I was browsing the web and I can across your home page. Nice job. I have had lots of dreams where I knew I was dreaming but I didnt even think of doing anything. Yea so im here to try to make me lucid dream! I managed to wake up on my first night after the first REM cycle, but when I went to go turn on my light so I could see what I was writing, I forgot the dream :( Tonight I am going to have a lamp by my bed.
A little about me: I am a computer nerd/geek/freak, whatever you want to call me. I am a staff member at www.pro-networks.org. My abilities include programming (C++, VB) web design (HTML, CSS) image design (Im pretty good at photoshop [and Paint, but I try not to use it :-P]) I am 15 and im a christian. I live in British Columbia, Canada.
Thats about it.

Welcome Corey! We're glad to have you here. As a nerd, you'll fit in just fine with the wierdos, geeks, freaks, and odds-and-ends we've collected here at DV.
Anyway, if you need anything just let me know.

Nice to see you posting here so quickly. I only showed you this site this morning. Post your lucid dream in the experinces forum.

Uh, oh! These two know each other. Are we going to have to separate them? :rolllaugh:
All kidding aside, welcome to you both. It's nice to see interest in DreamViews being spread by word-of-mouth. :)

In any event, welcome to both of you, Corey & Bucky!

A good suggestion... if you do decide to use a lamp pull the cover over your head before you turn it on, even the act of putting the light on can cause you to forget details.

*realizes she forgot to address the question*
Dagget had a good idea. Also, one thing that really helps is to make sure you don't move when you wake up. Before you turn on the light, just lay in bed and get the details in your mind so that you remember them before turning on the light. Or at least work backwards to get the main points in the dream so you can write them down first and fill in the details in your DJ.
I hope this was helpful!
