      Blurry Dream recall?

Hi guys, Iv been remembering all my dreams the past week...past few days accuily they have came to me in the shower after i wake i thought i was doing good untill i started reading a few ppls dream journals (i jus write mine in a notebook) Many of u guys dream recall and you can remember exactly why you are were you are and things that you and others said...were ill give you a expample of one of my dream recalls

"I was at my old school Griswold or some school im not sure. Im not sure why i was there i think they was selling stuff (like a big nighttime special event they sometimes do at schools) There was tons of people and i saw ---- and ----(2 hots girl from my school) and i was in a rush so i said hi flirted for a minute then said i'll cya later, (i was in the dream prolly like 3-4hours, in the dream) but thoughs are the only words i remembering saying or hearing) Everything else i dunno really why its happening when i recall it but in my dream it seems normall to me(when im in it)

Then right after writing that down (cept the parenthises, cuz i kno what i mean lol) i remembered another dream

"For some reason i woke up erily and took my dog for a walk behind the school (I go to a tech school, but i live right behind a diff pub school) She wouldnt stop crappin and i got pissed and i guess for sumreason i wasnt cold and i wasnt wearing a shirt (stupid me...i should have realized i was dreaming) then my school prinicble who hates me lol Walked by and said hi (i should have realized again)

Well yeah my point is that some of you guys dreams recall like you know exactly were you are and converstations you have with people...in my dreams alot of times ill be chillen with sumone the whole-time but when i wake up i have no idea why i was chillen w/ them and i dont remember a word we talked about will this get better? And if it dosn't dose this mean i have less chance or its going to take longer to get lucid? Thanks for reading all of this--Please respond if u have any input Thanks Alot.

In my experience, I think that details in dreams are easier to remember as one practices recalling them on a consistent basis. However, I think there will always be dreams that are really fuzzy. Some of my dreams I remember very well, others I don't remember that well. It just depends.

Sometimes, your dream memories will be fuzzy. It happens to the best of us. Don't let it worry you. Just continue to concentrate on remembering them, and you should be fine. If the problem persists, then it might become a problem.

      hey

Well lastnight i remembered 2 seperate dreams :-) Very happy. Of course though i didnt remember them in the night or anything one came like5minutes after i woke up and the other came like 40minutes later. I want them to wake me up and then i can record so i can know exactly what times to do WBTB and stuff, cuz i can never get the time right w/ a alarm clock of when im in REM.

I wanted to write down exactly what i wrote down in my journal (cept maby better spelling, hopfully :-) ) So you can judge wether these are good dream recall or the details are still weak...i dont know weither to be happy or be pissed and need to prax more lol. So ima write out what i wrote in my DJ --if theres only like half written ill finish it but i gotta get to class in like 5minutes :-p K here i go.

"i had a really cool dream it had to do w/ cheris dogs. One of them caem out dead and i had to bring it to the ocean to save it for sum reason and it turned into a jelly fish, all i did was flop it on its moms back (jelly fish also) like a pancake and it came alive somehow. Then when we came back on land(jus appeared in her house) it was a dog again but it was dead, (it was a lil mini version , like3inchs long) of my dogg. So i poked it in the chest it spit up water then came alive. It felt really good. then i got home and i was piussed cuz sumones was on my PC and knew all my Pw's

Then this is the second dream i remembered

"I got results from a test back, i think the capt tests, and i just barily passed. mom/stepdad(George) tryed to make me feel good but i was pissed. i knew doin this bad would offectmy future, also a techer saw my grade and told me she was a failure as a teacher"

Lol so as you see these were my too dreams, through both of them i only remember one accuily quote of dialog (what the techer said) Also, i edited the first one alot...when i wrote it down it didnt make much sense but now its more clear after thinking about it for a while. I g2g to class please write back if you think these dream recall is good or is still to vauge. Thanks.

well honestly everyones recall is different, and some peoples dreams may not be as complicated as others, its more of i guess i personal thing to tell how much you remember or how much there is.

      Totally agree here...

The dialog in my dreams, though it actually occurs, is hard to remember exactly. I can remember what we're talking about MOST times, but very seldom so far have I been able to remember any exact "lines" of dialog... if it's a small; phrase, I'll usually get the "gist" of it though. I'd suggest that maybe "dream dialog" recall MAY improve with practice... what do other more experienced dreamers say 'bout this? Can you guys remember exact dialog?

As for the fuzziness of dreams, re-writing your dreams from dream journal, say, onto this website's dream journal function, REALLY helps with recalling details in dreams. Thinking about your dreams later on in the day (if you've got the time) REALLY helps your mind fill in the blanks that you weren't perhaps thinking about when you first wrote it in your original dream journal.

As a sidenote, I remembered 4 dreams last night, my BEST ever, YAY! (though two of them were very, very short and not very vivid...) YAY! I've been using a dream journal for over a week, and my recall's getting steadily better, and is progressing at a very encouraging rate, ESPECIALLY since i started getting into a regular sleep pattern... I find that REALLY helped...

You are certainly making progress. That is wonderful. Keep doing what you're doing, and you will go far.
