I actually start dreaming I completely forget my objective. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remember you're actually trying to LD before you accomplish it?

Hey, El Chupa Nimbre! Welcome to the forum! Why don't you check out our tutorials?. If you still don't find what you need, you can contact myself, a fellow Dream Guide, or another more experienced member.
I've read most of the tutorials on LD and understand the reason for the dream journal but it seems like I am not able to think at all in my dreams much less convince myself it is just a dream.

Maybe you should try to fill your mind with thoughts before you go to bed, and know this is all a dream anyways. Maybe even watch that Spongebob episode, or stay on here till you fall asleep.
hey dude you just gotta be focused and really want it, and if your keeping a dream jounal which im SURE your doimg because it is VERY important then you should be fine after a while. good luck.

This is the same problem I have. I can think about dreaming for a while before I go to bed but by time I start dreaming I dont remember anything I was trying to do and the dream goes on normally.
Sometimes, getting the hang of an LD can take a while. You might have to practice a technique for awhile before you get results. Don't worry. I promise if you work hard, you guys will see some progress. Realizing you are in a dream takes a lot of practice.Quote:

Last night I had a dream where I was in a bar, and the barkeeper stood up on the counter and peed all over the crowd. Of course I didn't suspect anything. Later I actually ordered a Quarter Pounder from him, he didn't seem to know how to make a QP but still he made one... lol
I also had a dream where my camera didn't work... didn't become lucid, duhhh
And I've been doing this for months so it indeed isn't very easy for everyone...
The same things happen to all of us. Lol. I wish it were easy to tell if you were dreaming.Quote:

I think I had an LD last night but I don't remember very well because in my excitement to go back to sleep and try again I forgot to write down what happened. I think I changed the surrounding to a beach though.
