Dreams Becoming Reality

Hi Everyone!!! I am very excited to have found this forum. I have always been in touch with my dreams but have never considered lucid dreaming. I have had semi-lucid dreams before and have sometimes been able to control them in one way or another. I read through the web site and had my first lucid dream that night... Ha and I knew what it was! It was fun but I woke myself up right away because It was so real. I wanted back in the dream so bad! :lol:

Well I have a friend that calls me the Dream Lady because I seem to have dreams that become reality in one form or another. She started calling me that when I told her about them. My first dream that really ever meant anything to me was when I was 11. The dream was centering my father; He was seriously hurt or died. I remember parts of it but what I remember most is waking up with a feeling of dread. My mom and sister both had similar dreams... within months my dad had a very bad accident and was in the hospital for 6 weeks and a wheelchair for another 6! I don’t know maybe it is total coincidence, but the more I dream the more I want to learn about it. And how cool would it be if I could have my own dream world where I could do whatever the crap I want!!!! Ha! I can't wait to go to sleep :laughhard: Maybe even someday I will tell you about my first lucid dream... Oh yeah it was fun!!!!!!

Sounds also like you might've had one of those precognative dreams that i've heard about. :shock:

Whoa you seem to have some precognative dreams yeah, as well as your mother and your sister?

Well so far I have had two dreams that you could call precognative. The first as I told you was about my father as was the second. The first dream he died by a horse accident which is in no way how he was hurt. I dont remember to many of the details about that dream but I remember it effected my life... ie. i had a really strong feeling something was going to happen.
The second dream was many years later and I drempt that he got his hand cut off by a wood chopper. Well about a year later he almost cut his thumb off with a table saw. If I have a dream that I feel strongly about and remember well somehow I feel something may happen... may not be the exact thing but it is really wierd. That is why I want to be more in touch with my dream world. I hate, though, how it is something bad that always happens to someone I love. I have had a few dreams that have not panned out into any kind of reality but we'll see. Oh yeah I forgot. I had a dream about work one night not to long ago and I did the EXACT thing the next day... hehe but I dont know if that was me playing out the dream or something. Hehe still really weird!

As for my sister and Mom... They only had the one precognative dream as far as I know.
