Half Lucid?
After trying for quite some time now to have a lucid dream, last night I think I may have had one.
I knew I was dreaming, and I'd read somewhere on this forum that it was helpful to give yourself voice cues such as "Increase Lucidity Now!" and "Increase Clarity Now" and I found myself doing this a lot. I tried changing things in my dream, but it never worked. I remember driving at night and saying, "Make everything brighter!" and "Make it dawn" but it still stayed pitch black. I then remember seeing one of my friends and felt very embarassed to tell him that he was simply a dream character so I didn't.
Is it possible to have a regular dream about lucid dreaming??
I'm going to keep trying...
Greg.

Greg that was a real lucid dream, I know the feeling where you think it wasnt really you it was just a regular dream but then about lucid dreaming. This is because the way you remember dreams, which make the things vague and blurry and make it seem like it wasnt really you in the dream. Next time I'm gonna try to remind myself that I'm going to remember the dream perfectly, while beeing in the dream.

Yeah, its not that easy, its happened to me a couple times as well. On my first lucid dream when I joined this forum, I was flying and decided to go way across the city to a tower in some mountains in the background. I wanted to close my eyes and teleport myself there. I tried to do that for a while, with no results, no matter what I said or did. In the end I just had to fly there.
Its not that easy to have that kind of control over a dream, I haven't yet reached it myself, and I am guessing it requires practice and concentration. Keep on trying, with some time you might get it....
